Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist, and competing within the UFC flyweight division. She is the elder sister of the fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career started in the form of a Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title before being defeated by Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina was able to continue her professional career after winning a silver and bronze medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, as well as a Gold medal in 2011, and the 2015 IFMA amateur Muay Thai world champion. Antonia started her professional career in at the age of 2003. She took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships 2012 and The Lion Fight Lightweight Championships 2016 and both the WMC World Championships and the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina was last seen fighting Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in The Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won with a majority. Antonina Schevchenko began the professional phase of her MMA profession in the year 2002, with the victory over Anara Baanova in the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She was victorious in the second round TKO, and then won 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to get a 3-0 record. Shevchenko stopped her involvement in MMA to focus on the sport of kickboxing. She made her return against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko was able to defeat Anissa by a majority vote and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in 2017. She resigned from the organization and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina displayed her striking prowess by TKOing Nievera by knees. Antonina's UFC contract was renewed following this victory. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut UFC during her debut at the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko fell to Roxanne Modafferi via split decision following her first fight. Antonina rebounded from her loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova with a back-naked choke submission in the second round UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned an extra fight in the night for this fight. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn along with Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She fought Ariane Lipski, and also defeated Ariane. Antonina has recently been lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
